Italian pay-TV broadcaster Mediaset Premium has launched the country’s first sport channel in UltraHD. The new channel has been officially opened on Saturday May 28th with the live broadcast of the UEFA Champions League final which took place at the San Siro Stadium in Milan between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
The prestigious sport event has been produced in stunning UHD – having four times the resolution of HD – with the technological support of DBW Communication.
For the live broadcast of the match, a dedicated direction was provided thanks to DBW Communication.
The final has been live broadcast by PREMIUM SPORT 4K (channel 391 DTT), available to all Mediaset Premium subscribers with an UltraHD Tv – capable of receiving content broadcast in HEVC – without any additional cost.
