LA BOHÈME IN 4K FOR THE FIRST TIME ON THE BIG SCREEN

Great success for the night dedicated to ‘La Bohème in 4K’, for the first time on the big screen at Quattro Fontane cinema in Rome on October 22th, during the last edition of Eurovisioni Festival.
This extraordinary edition of ‘La Bohème’, filmed in 4K-HFR by DBW Communication in co-production with Rai Com, has been directed by one of Italy’s greatest film directors, Ettore Scola, who has celebrated, during the 60th Puccini Festival, 50 glorious years of career. Scola brings new life and fresh interpretation to Puccini’s masterpiece which is one of the wolrd’s best loved operas.
‘A cinema director should not be too strong and innovative approaching a lyric opera. My intention has been to preserve the original modernity of La Bohème. The music is very modern as well as the strong emotions generated’, Ettore Scola said before the screening.
