St. Francis in the Art of the Italian Masters

Hosted by the Casa della Cultura Fiat (Belo Horizonte), then by the National Museum of Fine Arts (Rio de Janeiro) and FAAP (San Paolo), the exhibition brings together masterpieces by Tiziano Vecellio, Perugino, Orazio Gentileschi, Guido Reni, Guercino, Carracci and Cigoli, from important Italian collections, for the first time in Brazil.

Curated by the art historian Giovanni Morello, the exhibition presents the most relevant phases of the representation of San Francesco through works that occupy a space of fundamental importance in Western culture for their artistic, historical and symbolic value.

Offering an immersive and unique experience, the exhibition also includes a Virtual Reality Room that transports the visitor to the Upper Basilica of Assisi (1228) thanks to the help of VR viewers. Walking through one of the most important and most beautiful basilicas in the country, the visitor appreciates the masterpieces of the Italian painter Giotto (1267-1337), an artist symbol of the medieval and pre-Renaissance periods.

In collaboration with Round4U, DBW Communication oversaw Storytelling, 360° stereoscopic 6K shooting, Stitching, 3D Modeling and Software development for Oculus Go devices.
